BlackQueen is a metal soundtrack to a film that exists in the mind, where the power of fear is respected and not seen as a negative force. Within that subconscious film the imagination runs wild and unbridled, creating landscapes from a time when the psyche was fed by the powers of nature, and channeled by a host for the purpose of prosperity, unity with the environment and protection from ignorance. The spirit of the songs are both light and dark, yet contain a constant, unrelenting malice toward the imbalance that modern man has put upon this world.
